Bruce Melizan

Chairman
Bruce has more than 30 years of international experience in and has worked in multiple sectors including Equipment Rental, Outsourcing, Construction, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing and now operating in Food Retail and the Automotive sectors. Bruce’s primary focus is to lead the Board and focus on strategic matters, overseeing the Group's business.

Avital Lobel

Managing Director Flywheel Partners
Avital Lobel is the Managing Director of Flywheel Partners. Prior to this, Avital was the Head of Principal Investments at Grovepoint Capital and an investment banking executive at Investec Bank before that. Avital’s primary focus is to work with the management team and Board of ES Global on the strategic direction of the organisation and assisting with key growth initiatives – both organic and inorganic.

Simon Singh

Director Flywheel Partners
Simon Singh is a Director at Flywheel Partners. Prior to this, Simon was in the Principal Investments team at Grovepoint Capital and an investment banking executive at Houlihan Lokey before that. Simon’s primary focus is to work with the management team and Board of ES Global on the strategic direction of the organisation and assisting with key growth initiatives – both organic and inorganic.

Jeff Burke

Joint CEO
Jeff has over 30 years of experience of delivering temporary infrastructure in the event and entertainment industry as well as delivering ceremonies for major world events dating as far back as Sydney Olympics in 2000. Jeff’s primary focus is at a strategic level, running the company with Olly and with a specific focus on business development. A key aspect of this entails nurturing and building on the client and partner relationships of the company.

Olly Watts

Joint CEO
Olly has over 30 years of experience in delivering world class culture, media and sport projects and more recently expanding in to public sector. Olly’s primary focus is at a strategic level, running the company with Jeff and with a specific focus on project delivery. A key aspect of this entails the forming of and management of teams that design and deliver the projects, on behalf of our high-profile clients.

Amy Casterton

Business Development Director
Amy has over 15 years of experience of business development, project management, communications, corporate governance and leadership. Amy’s primary focus is to lead the growing international Business Development team and join the Operational Board in helping shape both global business and ESG strategies.

Cyrille d’Estienne d’Orves

Managing Director France
Cyrille has 30 years of experience in Marketing, Events, and Business Development in the cosmetics (L'Oréal), fashion (Chanel), fine foods and restaurant luxury sectors, as well as a strong experience of international markets, having lived in Hong Kong, New York, and Sydney. As General Manager of our Paris office, Cyrille’s primary focus is to develop ES Global's activities in Continental Europe, and particularly France.

Martin Hall

Business Development Manager Middle East
Martin has over 20 years of experience of business development, marketing, company start up and set up in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) and economic development from major sports events. Martin’s primary focus is developing ES Global’s business in the Middle East where he has extensive experience from both the Public and Private Sector.

Tim Spencer

Director of Public Works
Tim has over 35 years of experience of working for creative agencies in the live events sector as Project Director or Client Account Director around the Globe. Tim’s primary focus is the development of Public Sector works, building relationships that drive business growth.

Emma Phillips

Business Development Executive Qatar
Emma has over 10 years of experience in Project Management over a wide variety of events. Living in the middle east region for 15 years, Emma has lived and worked in both Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Emma’s primary focus is developing business and client relationships in Qatar and Alula, Saudi Arabia.

Patrick Ledwith

Managing Director North America
Pat has over 35 years of experience in Technical Production working globally on everything from large scale touring productions to stadium ceremonies. Pat’s primary focus is on business development In North and South America.

Tomoko Maekawa

Managing Director Japan
Tomoko has over 15 years of experience in Project Management of Architectural projects. Tomoko’s primary focus is business development in Japan.

Mark Hornbuckle

Staging Manager
Mark has over 22 years of experience running multiple staging and other projects simultaneously and always delivering on time, planning, costing events and music Project Management roles. Mark’s primary focus is managing the music side and live events/being part of the business development team.

John Tomkins (JT)

Project Development Director
John has over 30 years of experience in Project Management and the design and delivery of temporary venues and temporary overlay. John’s primary focus is to lead the Project Development team, developing client’s concepts and ideas and converting them into deliverable solutions, for the Projects team to create.

Scott Buchanan

Projects Director
Scott has over 17 years of experience in project management and project direction. Scott’s primary focus is project delivery of all ESG live projects, worldwide.

Ian Moynes

Operations Director
Ian has over 21 years of experience in the events and construction industries, working through most roles to senior operational and project management roles across numerous large scale sporting venues, temporary ice rinks, Royal Household events and major Government/International construction contracts. During this journey he has undertaken numerous qualifications from a NEBOSH Construction Certification in 2014 onto an NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety. Ian’s primary focus is the overall responsibility and direct line management for the Operations Team, overseeing the allocation of crew, stock control and allocation of equipment, ensuring the global logistics of moving equipment is undertaken smoothly, warehouse and yard operations, as well as the Health and Safety and Compliance across the organisation.

Nic Hayllar

Chief Financial Officer
Nic has 25 years experience in finance with 20 of those spent in the Events and Media industry. Nic’s primary focus is looking after the finance function of the business including providing strategic financial advice and support to the board.

John Gaffney

Commercial Director
John has over 30 years of experience in the Construction and Events industries, and holds Chartered Surveyor designation in three professional disciplines – Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Management Consultancy, as well as being a highly experienced contracts dispute resolution practitioner. John’s primary focus is heading up the Commercial functions within the Group including overseeing the contracts the company enters into, being highly experienced in major standard forms contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, etc) and bespoke forms, including those for Staging, Temporary Structures, Events, and Overlay, worldwide.

Dani Gubbay

HR Director
Dani has over 20 years of experience delivering HR strategy across a variety of industries and business sizes; including events and hospitality, entertainment and logistics. Dani’s primary focus is balancing operational HR support with people and culture.
