Project Overview – Soundforms is designed to bring indoor quality acoustics to the outdoor stage with revolutionary mobile acoustic performance shells, designed and manufactured in the UK. Instead of a stage that must be set up and torn down each summer for the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, the permanent facility would include a 4,800-squarefoot stage large enough to house all the symphony musicians and covered by an acoustic bandshell.
ES Global’s Role – ES Global is the main contractor and project manager working closely with Tucker Sadler Architects and Flanagan Lawrence to build the performance stage which combats the current limitations experienced by performers. The stage uses state of the art technology and a uniquely integrated, flexible design to create an acoustic touring stage to delight artists and audiences like
