ES Global, a leading provider of temporary overlay, demountable architecture and project management services, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the BBC Earth Experience project. As the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer of the project, ES Global assumed ultimate responsibility for the venue delivery, ensuring that every area of the project was realized to the highest standard.
Working in partnership with Mooneye Productions, our client responsible for the production of the show, the content, the multi-angle projection screens and WOO Architects, ES Global project managed the build including the breakout rooms and the design of the front of house. The experience is housed in a circa 2400m2 temporary structure hired from Neptunus. The building is designed to be demountable and re-usable.
Guests walk through the immersive main exhibition room to reach a set of stairs where the vista deck and curved screen, provided by Mooneye, are situated before reaching a balcony, provided by ES Global, overlooking the main exhibition room. The experience features 3 breakout rooms, Earth Life, Micro Life, and Water Life, each filled with immersive and interactive experiences for guests. The main exhibition room features 10m tall projection screens displaying footage from the BBC Studios Natural History Unit television series Seven Worlds, One Planet. Visitors will take a majestic 360-degree audio-visual journey as they explore iconic landscapes and connect with mesmerising animals on this epic adventure, bringing environments to life.
“ES Global is honoured to have been part of this exciting project,” said Olly Watts, Joint CEO at ES Global.
