Project Overview

For the London 2012 Games, a temporary arena was required at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games of the Modern Shooting competition and the Paralympic Archery events. After the Games, the temporary arenas are to be removed, returning the site to its former use.

ES Global’s Role – ES Global was contracted to design, supply, construct and dismantle/ remove the temporary buildings known as the 25m Range, the 50/10m Range, the Finals Range and the Screen for the Trap and Skeet Range
